Hi there folks...

I am looking to replace my dials on the dash as the unit is very worn. I have seen this on eBay

Land Rover Defender TD5 dash,fuel,clock,temp,speed on eBay (end time 11-Jan-10 17:15:31 GMT)

But it is for a TD5. I have an R reg 300Tdi. Can anyone that knows please let me know if it will be the same fit as it looks almost identical?. I have asked the seller and he has no idea.

it'll fit, but there is a lot of work that'll need doing as those gauges are primarily electronic

plenty of people are doing that conversion now that's why the price of those TD5 dashs have tripled recently

Thx Sean... Would you suggest that this would be an expensive job if I was to get someone (garage) to do this for me then?

i'd be very surprised if you could find a garage that knew how to install that dash in an older landy
