Hi all,

Thanks for reading this thread.

Ive recently got a bit obsessed about getting a landrover defender. Not too fusy about 90 or 110. However, ive got a bit of a problem. Im 6 foot 3 and pretty wide at the shoulder...and middle, bit of a big ass too.

So, ive been looking at 'mudrails' rail extenders and bulkhead tool.

However, i dont think that this will create enough space. The bulkhead removal doesnt completely get rid of it, just chops it down a bit so the seat can tilt back a bit more.

I think if the whole bulkhead was cut out and then seat rails positioned further back into the vehicle or just longer rails then that would provide enough room.

Is this even possible to do safely? How much do you reckon such a job would cost?

Thanks again! :fighting2:

Hi there

Get a 110 CSW take the drivers seat out and sit on the second row simples :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

My mate had a standard 90 and was fine... He is 6ft 5!

Welcome to lz!!! Go and post in the 90/110/130 section and someone more helpful than me will most likely help!

I have a defender 110 csw. Push seat right back. Haven't got rails on as kids need to get behind me.
I have a smaller detachable steering wheel with a flat bottom. I'm 6'3'' and a big lad I find it fine. Try a few.
