evening,

Im currently looking at buying a landrover 90 v8 but have one issue with it, it has a automatic gear box and im not to sure if they where built with automatic gear boxes or manual? looking around on google isnt helping me at all. its a 3.9 efi engine first registered in 1984 if that helps, i know someone local to me with a v8 land rover 90 and his is a manual which is why im in doubt about it.

Manual gearbox only and the 3.9 wasn't around in 1984. So what's your issue with it? Your not sure.

i wasnt sure which gear box it shoud of had. so obviosly someones had to of done a engine conversion on it at some point in its life then.

yeah, engine and gearbox conversion some time in its life.
However a v8 and the auto box would be nice i reckon, how does it drive?

1984 it would have been manual with a 3.5 v8.

Thanks for the replys guys. I havent driven yet as ive spotted it up forsal so just toying with the idea of buying it.
