Is a GMB GU-1000 UJ the same as a RTC3458?

What do you mean. That part number supersedes to TVC100010. Just use GKN.hardy spicer HD version. £20 each and worth every penny.

When I dismantlewd my UJ I found that the GMB (Japanese manufacturer?) GU1000 was too big for the prop shaft. I bought a GKN equivalent to ther RTC3458 and fitted that successfully. I think the GU1000 must be for the Series 2 propshaft.
