As stated - the ECM works on Atmospheric pressure and needs to breath. Just move it!.

rather than all that messing about and it still might not work,why not just bite the bullet and buy the correct cable of MHM.he is a genuine bloke who makes a great product.this will save your ecu in the event of flooding,plus you can always sell it on if needs be.
