Hi am thinking about installing a defender manual tilt/removable sunroof in to the rear roof of my disco to use as a shooting hatch.
Has anyone done this before??
Where can i get 1 from??

and no, never thought of that, although I reckon a metal hatch with clamps with silicone seals would be a better idea

just get a disco one - theres tons of them about. I have one as a rear window on my motor.

An electric one would be a real pose though, handy to be able to dispel flatulation gasses at the touch of a button...and tinted with nice blinds.

Thinking more about the manual clamp 1 that you can remove the glass from.
Would site it above the boot space so could stand up through the sunroof hole and use the roof as a shooting rest.
Would give me an elevated shooting platform and could even get my mrs to drive me around the farm in it

Got a retro fit sunroof kit off ebay to continue with the "shooting truck" project.
Just need to borrow a jigsaw now and cut a hole in the roof
Might put some pics on as i do it

200tdi sunroof same btw. Chances are yours might not leak though!

dont know how fat you are but im not sure you will fit through the hole, could prove tricky with a shooter in tow. they dont open fully i dont think.

Orr..........ask me cos i am breaking a disco with tilting sunroofs. Dont know if glass is removable as never tried. Its a twisting wheel to tilt.

Hi just wondering if you fitted the sun roof to the rear of your Landy .if so any chance of a photo please, I'm looking to do the same in my 90 thanks
