Hi all. Am busy bringing my 110csw 300tdi with enough miles to reach the moon back to a presentable condition again. Working my way slowly round things but decided the steering had gone beyond woolly at the weekend. On getting under the old girl found the drop arm ball joint not looking too pretty but more worryingly the drop arm was loose on the shaft of the steering box. I know having a loose shaft is never good But on trying to order a new drop arm I'm not sure what box I've got. 4 or 6 bolts. There are 4 bolts in a square that hold it to the chassis and then two more at 90' to that that bolt to a bracket. I know that 4 plus 2 equals 6 etc lol but not sure what box I have. It's a 98 300tdi. Any help always gratefully appreciated

Hi James. That's awesome. Thank you. I'm glad I asked as I was heading towards 6 bolt as 4+2 etc. Turns out it equals 4 lol.
