Hi all

I have the remains of a defender 90 chassis up for grabs it has a brand new rear cross member in it only fitted a month or so ago but the rest of the chassis is not savable as i have cut out the engine mounts and rad mounts....

the rear tub is still on but no floor and i am going to cut the cover hooks off tomorrow.

a galvanised fuel tank is still fitted to the chassis but can be separated.

When ye say 'cover hooks' do ye mean the things along the side of the tub just under the cappin'?
If so, then its only two rivets holding them on. Try usin' a drill just to take the heads off the rivets and the hooks will come away dead easy

AAH mine are spot welded on and need to save as much as i can for datums when putting them on my new tub
