Hi guys

Before I spend any more time and money on my new (to me!) 110 truck, I need to establish if its a keeper. I'm looking for someone to take a look at it for me, and let me know what needs doing to it. Emphasis on the "need"!! You know what I mean; its an old Land Rover, not a Rolls Royce.

I'm in East Sussex, 10 miles north of Hastings. Is there anybody local to me that would mind taking a look for me? You needn't be a mechanic, just knowledgable/interested! Naturally, your costs will be covered.

If no one volunteers, you could always take it for an mot.

Also, pretty sure there's a good guide on here somewhere of what to look for when buying a new landy. Might be an idea to have a read of that.

What have you spent money on so far? Is there anything specific you think might be wrong with it?

Well I have an issue with a leaky fuel tank and a rear shock hanging off, but before I spend out on that, I want to establish if there's 'owt else wrong with it. If it's alright I'll start getting it ship shape.

Look at the various guides available on the web, they are pretty simple even for a total novice.

You say "before i spend any more money", what have you done so far? What engine is it, what year is it?
