Hi there. I've just attempted to change a faulty handbrake warning switch on my 110 Utility and fell at the first fence!!! I maybe being really thick but - how the hell am I supposed to get a screwdriver in the 2 locating screws as they're on the inside near the gearbox housing???? Do I really have to take the whole handbrake off just to change this faulty switch??? Is there some trick I'm missing? I thought this was going to be a 'quick-win'!!!! Help!

However are you sure its the switch. The warning light also comes on for low brake fluid, which I found out on mine.

I've managed to impress a couple of my friends since with my diagnostic skills (normally non existent) by suggesting this fix for theirs

knowledge is power

On my 90 the screws are on the outside so no problems with access. Like said before you can check the switch by shorting the connector (yellow wire from memory) to the handbrake, that should make the light work.
