I have the chance to buy a pair of good defender door that are complete. There is a little rust at the bottom of the frames but nothing major. What do you guys think would be a fair price to pay?

Doesnt seem a set price for doors, but seeing they are rusty in the usual, little as possible!

I don't think they are rusty enough to warrant any welding. Just some cleaning up. £150 each sound ok?

got mine - without rust for £72 for a pair on the bay.
BARGAIN!

Unless yours are completely nailed then it's cheaper to get them welded

wow. Wish I could get some like that. My drivers one is goosed, and passenger isnt far behind it.

mine are rotten right up to the top hinge on both doors!!

Pop in your local engineering firm and see what they think. So long as there is no bimetalic corrosion on the ally skin is an easy fix for any welder worth his salts. If not then grp doors are are only 250 a door

I am looking at a more recent door for rear which has the better moisture alleviating design.

You can get new doors on eBay without gubbins and locks for less than 200
