I have my door cards fitted to the defender but only the handles & window winder hold the door cards on.

I know you can get the screw items that slot in the bottom etc. But has anyone come up with a better aftermarket idea to holding them in place?

thanks in advance

same problem with mine. Stick the retainer part that is in the door, take the card and drill from the back through where the push clips sit, then use screw to hold it on.

So what do u use for it to screw into?
Sorry
I didn't understand full what todo! So the plastic

Sorry to sound like a total novice and now I know what you mean but please bare in mind that I actually don't have them said clips at all in my landy!!! Now I know that I just use the secure part like a raw plug and screw through makes sense now I know.

I put a rivnut in the door frame at each corner where the existing plastic sockets are and drilled through the door card. I used some nice stainless mushroom head allen screws to hold 'em on. I think it looks good and it makes getting the cards on and off a piece of cake.
