hello all im a new member and not sure if ive posted in the right place but does anybody know of any links for fabricating an entire dash as ive ripped mine out and plan on building a new one to suit my needs any idea's pics much appreciated thanks wayne:confused:
 
you can buy pod things think they from mud
just ebay landrover dashboard accsesories or sumut like that...

but i hope yuo aint thrown ya old dash board thing away

bet ya put it back in...
 
im planning doing just the same thing. Ive got a rapter center dash at the mo, but fancy replacing the whole thing.
Ive seen a really nice instrument display for not a lot of money
 
no took the lot out as its alot of useless bulky weight plus wanted out so i could plumb in the blowers so the windscreen clears better, making an alloy one from scratch just wondered if there was any threads already started on my templates
 
Don't forget that a lot of the 'bulky' stuff in a dash is to stop you kebabing yourself on the fixtures in an accident.

Use the old dash as a template for the wiring loom,(even if your making a new one).
 
My plan is to measure up, take a crude drawing to the metal fabricators and the old parts if they're still recognisable and ask them to make me something similar.
 
cheer gents looks a very nice dash , where can i find images of the tomb raider style? as for the harness i will be adding to it but not changing too much maybe extending wires to move switches and the like!!
