Anyone know where to get a replacement clock for a Defender TD5 2001 apart from from LR themselves??? Mine ceased working so needs renewing. Also, are they 52mm size as i can see loads on Ebay for £30-50. Has anyone done this swap, for how much and from which seller etc?

Its the same VDO analogue clock as fitted to the earlier Defenders ... plenty of pre-owned around, about £80 ish should get you a good one.
As you say any 12V, 52mm clock will fit.

I found out that my Defender 90 TD5 clock on my 2001 car has a blown resistor and can be repaired for pennies. Save buying a new LR one at £150 which is a bit steep.

Anyone out there have the resistor sizes of the LR clock from a 2001 TD5? Or a picture of them as they have lines on them denoting the load rating etc.
