Hello all,
My name is Mick and I've just joined this forum. I posted this thread in the Introduce Yourself. I should have posted this here.
I would like some help please.
I've just purchased a pair of second hand defender later bonded rear side sliding windows. if any one could kindly answer the following please:

The frames are scratched and could do with repainting, what paint would land rover have used as I would guess some paints would react with each other.

Whats the part numder of the sponge seal which runs around the inside edge.

Whats the best sealent/bonding agent to use to fit these in with.

Bloody hell we know you want help but three posts in three different sections on the exact same thing is just ridiculous

I used this link and the woolies trim he suggests. Works a charm.

Thanks Stulios for the info. I was looking for the seal that runs around the edge between the window and the body. does any one know if this seal is the same as the one used on the riveted type windows
