Can someone explain please, I have been reading redhands post on alloys and it says that the defender, rr, and disco 1 have the same wheel offset and the pcd.
Does this mean I can fit these straight on my defender or,do I still need spacers with alloys, for them to fit. Thanks

is yours 300 tdi as all 3 at that time used the same axles bar the brakes ,pcd didnt change from series till disco2 and p38 which are different,200 and earlier defenders have too wide hubs to fit 300 alloys without fitting spacers

200 or 300 tdi as 300 hubs poke out less to accept alloys 200 stick out too far unless specific bought for it or spacers used

Thanks JM my defender is 1997 P reg 300tdi 110 hardtop, it has discs front and back I have a set of disco1 and disco2 alloys, I was hoping that the D1 would need no spacers, thanks Steve.

I've got a 1992 200tdi Defender with 30mm spacers, and the alloys fit and look the business :D

Thanks for posting the photo, I was hoping not to fit spacers I just wanted to fit the wheel straight on, as I am not so fussed with fitting spacers,as I read on here that insurance don't like them, and neither do the wheel bearings
