Had a search but could not find anything current so any help appreciated. I'd like side windows in my 90 3 door van, but am nervous about slicing into it myself. Anyone had these fitted anywhere within 30 miles of Dartford? If so, an idea of cost with or without window cost would be a decider - Also, I've seen available new/used slider windows or fixed windows. Used ones quite cheap but I've read elsewhere on here of the rattle - Sounds like just an addition to the orchestra I currently have, is it that bad?
Thanks for any input

Rattle can generally be 'fixed' with some appropriately positioned cardboard wedges or blutack, it is also possible to replace the channel guides, fairly easy when the windows are out. Never had to cut the sides so can comment on that.

Lots of sliding windows do rattle, but not because they're supposed to- they do it when they're broken. Just like lots of Land Rovers leak/have wandering steering/don't start when it's cold etc.
You can replace the felt channel (which rots and falls apart hence the rattle) either with the windows out, or with some persuasion it can be done in situ. New windows shouldn't have a problem.

I've got a set from Masai in Lichfield and they are great, you can buy a template that makes fitting really easy. I'll put a link up from when I fitted mine if you want

Cracking job Marmaduke - Looks really nice.

On my LR I see it has a horizontal strengthening bar running through the area you needed to cut out, it doesn't appear to be shown in your pics - Had you removed it prior to pics or was it not fitted on your's I wonder?
