Hi all, i dont have many lights that work on the dash... is this just a bulb that needs replacing???

Also should the beam be on when you push the stalk back or is it when you pull the stalk forward? Not sure if the wiring is back to front!

Most likely yes. There are about 20 bulbs behind the small warning panel

Push it away should put high beam on. In the centre it should be off and pull back should flash em.

Thanks for replying, i think they are back to front at the moment and the quick flash doesnt work anyway, can i just swap the bullet connectors over to fix the problem???

Many thanks,

Al

how would it be back to front? the switch should latch in the push away position, leaving mean beam on.

what is yours doing?

Hi, when i puch the stalk forwards the lights are dipped, when i return the stalk to the centre the beam comes on. When i pull the stalk forward to the momentry position nothing happens. I dont get any indication on the dash also.....

Cheers..

when you push you side/main beam lights stick fwd your green dash light will come on, giving you lights on the front of your landy then when you pull your LH indicator stalk you main lights will flash bringing on a blue bulb on the dash it will sping back to center then when you push it fwd it will stay on full beam again bringing the blue light on the dash, if not swap over ones that work and have someone infront to tell you if they come on

has it had the wings off it at some point? id rekon it has, and someone has connected the wires in there up backwards, as, if you match the colors between the loom and the light unit, they are backwards like that.

Hi, i have fixed the problem by swapping over the connectors for each light. Think i need a new stalk as i cant flash the beam by pulling the stalk forwards - cant hear no contact. Could this just be a dirty contact on the stalk????

Cheers,

Al

could be.

my mate literally melted his due to running extra lights off main beam with no relay. Has yours got extra lights, or more bpowerful bulbs?

Nar, they are just the standard ones. I presumes i can get to the contacts on the stalk to look at it. I have just ordered a headlight conversion kit, A Bar & spots with relays, etc... So will sort them out the weekend!!

Many thanks.

Al
