Hi does the lift pump lever push down or up to prime the system ? I seem cannot to push down ?? After changing my stop solonoid fuel. It won't start. I guess air lock. Do I slacken the nut on the first injector on engine too ?

Its all to easy to fit the pump with its operating lever the wrong side of its cam lobe and it will not work,before fitting fuel pipes operate the hand lever and you should hear it breathing.After bleeding injection pump cracking open an injector can help to get it running.Cheers.

Surely the army wouldn't fitted the pump with lever the wrong way ?? I will try again tomorrow will turning the engine crack help too ??
