The Disco's been great and I've been up to eighty miles an hour, cruise at sixty regulaaar and she's not been a bit of trouble.
Until today....I hit a new pothole at about 50 mph and the front wheels developed terrible shake, like when the wheels arn't balanced. Had to slow down to about 30 mph to get it to stop.
I've not looked at owt yet but I'll check the power steering fluid tomorrow.
Any thing else on the mechanicl side to look for please.:)

Bent track rod or buggered track rod end ball joint??
I'll have a look but it's not long since bin MOT'd:rolleyes:

Cant understand why it needs a good jolt to start the wobble, could it be the steering damper ? having said that it dont look that old

Depending on how hard ya hit the pothole, The shock could have bent it.

fook when ya said pothole I was thinking fook orf great hole. not a little ripple in the ground

swivel preload is worth checking fella, had the same thing on mine at around 65-70mph , thats what sorted it.
worth checkin everything else just in case also.
