My Disco 2 TD5 makes an odd noise from tickover when i boot it. It doesn't happen if i raise the revs gently, only WAM! from tickover.
Any thoughts?

I meant to upload it here straight from my phone but the 35 seconds clip is 72MB!

Sounds like Diesel knock to me..

Take off the drive belt and see if it makes a difference

Nope. It's only the V8 that has it

Suggest something is moving (engine mounts perhaps) when you blip the throttle.
