Hi guys,

I am about to embark upon a service of my EAS system. Up to now I have only maintained my compressor, but now I am going to have a whack at the valve block. Several web guides advise de-pressurising the system using a diagnostic tool, but is there a way to do this without one?

Thanks

Pull the pipes out.

That would do it. Safer way is disconnect compressor plug. Start engine and lower car to access then select high then drop to access until it won't go back up. Then stop engine and pull pipes. Not as much air to get rid of. :);)

Haha! I was hoping someone would say that. I actually can get access to a diagnostic but the effort is for too great.

Cheers

Datatek on here will supply you with a EAS lead and software for less than the price of a round of drinks - what are you waiting for?!
