I've just replaced my heater matrix, also took the speedo panel out to replace lamps.

I probably stripped down more than I needed but I want to pressure the cooling system and make sure there are no leaks before I reasemble.

I've reconnected the dashboard and all the other connections and the main information section on the dash, where the odo and error messages appear won't display anything.

Car starts and runs fine.

Any ideas?

check in the dark it probably is working jiggle connectors bulbs etc

I'll be happy just to save my P38.....I suspect 6 months from now, I'll be in a padded room shouting "what's that light?" or "can you smell something hot?" or "what's that noise?".

I have the AA on speed dial......both of them ;-)
