Cheers guys. I'll get back on here once I've done it. I'm getting bogged down in other projects at the moment. You see I belong to a religious cult known as "motor biking". Our one and only commandment is "though shall ride till your buns are sore if the sun shines". I can't ignore this calling. If I'm found to of missed a sun run. I will be stripped naked at the biker HQ and forced to allow fellow bikers dressed in leather to eat bacon sarnes of my bare bottom.......... So far I've missed every sunny day since last august.hang on I wasn't meant to mention that.

Ok, I'm in the same boat now. I've used a dremell to trim things away and get good access but still can't budge the screw.

I'm a little hesitant to drill it off in case I can't refit it and I'm stuck with a car in bits. As it is now I could reassemble and get someone else to have a go. What do I try next??

Try getting a screwdriver square on it and tapping it as you apply pressure to turn.
