The milometer on the dash display is only half lit. So i cant see all the info in the little box. Is this a case of replacing a bulb, how difficult is it or is it a job for a L/R garage. (non franchised).Bazz.

If you look up at the top of the instrument panel trim there should be 2 screws. These allow you to remove the plastic surround then you can see 4 screws that hold the instrument binnacle assembly in place. Don't drop them as you remove them!

You should be able to pull the instruments out and unplug it then take a look at the back of the panel. It sounds like the back light bulb for the LCD display has given up.

Mine was like that, I gave it a bang and it's been great for about 2 years now.
I was thinking about auditioning for the Fonz if they ever remake it.
