Hi, I am fitting parabolic springs to my series 3. I need new dampers and extended brake hoses. Which are the best to fit? Any suggestions?

What springs are they - do you really need longer hoses? I've got gbsprings on mine and the hoses and standard dampers are fine...

If you want to feel the full benefit of parabolics fit gas shocks,either standard length or +2" they cope better with the more active springs.
I have pro comp +2" on mine and they work well.

I've got Britpart standard rear ones on mine and they seem to fit on OK with parabolics, I don't know how good they'll be and might end up changing them (they were a necessity as the old Explorer shocks were full of water) if they aren't any good

Thanks, it looks like gas dampers are the choice. Another point do I need to use axle straps with Gas dampers?

I got GB Springs parabolics on mine with Pro Comp +2 dampers and extended Goodridge braided hoes (just in case) and seems a perfect combination to me

The straps are only there to limit downward axle travel so if you only drive on road it wont make any difference. If you do any laning or offroading take them off to get better articulation,mine got cut off the moment i got the landy

+1 i have extended hoses as well they are a must with taller tyres and where i go is like v8 jon not exactly habitable nor tarmac roads and i love my plus 2 procomps want some plus 5s though

Why do taller tyres need extended hoses? Or have you lifted it too?
