The cables within the loom are very well protected, unlikely that moisture will get in through the plastic insulation. The Becm stands up from the floor, but it's worth checking the connectors for signs of corrosion because if the dampness is caused by coolant leak the anti freeze content when it condensates can & will corrode the connections.......in turn, this will cause all types of electrical mishaps and occurances.:behindsofa:

The problem is all my displays are dead. Fuse 1 inside the car keeps on blowing. Also have a problem with light under rear ashtray and 1 plate light always on.
Already took the BecM out, but couldn't find any problems with it.
It is not coolant thats causing the damp, it is water.

Before you start thinking about new harnesses I woul take the Becm out again and take the top cover off to inspect for water damage/corrosion then put the Becm somewhere warm to dry naturally for at least 24 hours. Do not apply direct heat to it.
Plug it back in and see what happens.
