Right, I've had the carpets out, and the dampness is concentrated in a small area in the left hand side footwell, just a few inches ahead of the door. The car is parked on level ground and the running temp is normal.
There is nothing in the drivers footwell and no trace of anything leaking under the rubber insulation matting from anywhere near the location of the matrix.
I've checked the pollen filters - they're fine, and I've rodded the drains
No coolant loss, however, there is a strong smell of coolant inside the car when it warms up and there is condensation everywhere.
Any ideas would be appreciated

I've thought of the screen, I've also had a good look around to make sure there aren't any unexpected holes or missing plugs in the floorplan - nothing.
I'm only talking a small damp patch, not a puddle but as I say, the unmistakeable whiff of coolant is what is bothering me.
Everything else is fine, blower temp, all vents operate correctly.

Are you sure that what you think is the smell of coolant is not just the smell of wet carpet/sound proofing absorbed into the water.

I get a wiff of collant in mine (a sweet smell) but carpet is dry around the tunnel and never uses coolant, it maybe that its had an o ring problem in the past and the smell just stays in the carpet?
I still can't find them.... I need a map or something... What do they look like?
