Hi again,

Chatting to a mate over the weekend, hes a grounds keeper down Salisbury plain. For the last 6 years he'd had a TD5 defender to get around. It was getting a bit tatty so they swapped it for a new hilux. 6 weeks on he noticed it wasnt driving right so back to the garage and turns out he'd bent the chassis, so on the scrap heap and now hes got a shiny new TDCI Defender. Says it all really.

friend of mine managed to bend the chassis on an L200 last year. the japs must be using crappy steel.

Or just a 'modern' design that isn't up to the job.
