Come on guys have a good laugh at my expense how the hell do you get the radio out of a D2, went to landrover apparently thye do not sell the keys for there radios, went to halfords and bought a standard set and neither will shift the thing, what am i missing?

Haynes Manual Disc 2. Page 13.16.

2 x 2.5mm Allen keys if you have a 'Low-line' model. Or, '2 special tools inserted into the slots at the top of the unit' if you have a 'High-line' model.

All radios are the same at the first time of removal. there's a rubber "bung" at the rear retaining the unit and the wiring is now set and stiff. So if the catches are free then it needs a good hard pull, fingers in the tape player slot if you have one.

Its a highline stero so has slits instead of round holes

99p for a pair of extraction tools from eBay - they go into the slots in the top corners of the headunit....
