I went to see a 2003 D2 ES V8 on the weekend and need to see if these couple of points are deal breakers.

1. The orange hill descent light in the top right of the dash wash always lit and if you pushed the raise suspension button it beeped 3 times. I think the air bags were always fully extended.

2. The rust at the rear of the chassis.





3. The cruise control potentially doesn't work.

Its advertised at £4k and has full service history with 102k on the clock.

chassis is as most but not completely rotten yet a good scrape off and an application of rust killer and a paint or waxoyl would see a good few years before you need to replace the rear chassis legs,it should lower on a test drive, youd need to get fault codes read ,or knock a few hundred of to help cover cost of repair, whats the inside like, inner wings under bonnet etc ?its unlikely to find a perfect d2 for 4k but if inside was tatty id expect running gear to be perfect ,or iof insides perfect i expect to spend some getting a few faults sorted, more serious would be signs of engine issues ie fresh water or dirty coolant or rotten ace pipes on drives side chassis rail
