Well I managed it cold and the only problem I had was the filler bottle I had to squeeze in the fresh wouldn't go in the fill hole, the original plastic nuts had not been touched before and replaced with the brass one's
Those plastic nuts are useless, and will break apart if you touch them... I now replace the axle oil every time I replace the engine oil, or sooner if she's gotten a bit deeper in some water....
