Hi all - new to the Forum, so I'll introduce myself. I've got a red 90XS Defender, about 18 months old now which I had Kleentected by Chris Parkinson at Newbury last year. Love it to bits:D :D , wife not quite so sure;). Went touring Switzerland this year and had great time - good fun taking a Landy round the Swiss mountain roads and hairpins:eek:. We are going to go to the Continent again next year and want to take the cycles, so the question is, where is good place to get a rear mounted cycle rack that bolts behind the rear wheel on the back door (if you understand me) - no towbar fitted. Thanks - Rob

We bought one from halfords a couple of years back, i suppose they still sell them.

Hope this helps,

Scott.

ive got a paddy hopkirk one that fits onto the back door i got it off a bloke i used to work with. its meant for a hatchback but because the bottom rail rests on the spare wheel it fits perfect. they sell em in halfrauds for about 40 quid i think the only down side is storing the bastard when its not in use ;)

i got a paddy hopkirk roof rack off ebay for a quid. just throw the stuff/bike/wife etc.. on the roof.

Thanks for that - have had a look at Halfords and they sell them for about £75 now....may have a quick gand on fleabay - Rob
