nuts and bolts some go right through box bottom ,spacers and panel ,others have your batons bolted to panel and then box screwed to them after
So, I drill holes in the panel, bolt the batons on, put the panel back and then screw box onto baton?![]()
Ok, being a total novice at anything remotely technical, can someone advise me please. I have a cubby box which needs fixing down. 110womans 11 year old told me how to do it, but I can't work out how to fit the batons to the metal plate bit which would have been under the centre seat. What do I need? I have searched this site but everyone says 'fit the batons to the plate!' I don't know how![]()
i've made a wooden box on the plate. the wooden box of the cubby fits nicely over it. This was i can still take it off and remove the plate to say hi to my gearbox and hand brake![]()
Thanks guys, believe it or not this is a big job for me as I am a proper girlie and never tinkered with this sort of stuff before. I will get the bits needed (nuts, bolts, batons etc) and give it a go - what's the worse that could happen

Or you could do what I did for a year or so and just put it there annd not fit it at all and hust hold it on tight bends or steep inclines![]()
As I'm going to do this very task, I will be powering up the saw bench to cut the ply - if you want a couple of them, let me know.
IoW is a tad too far to drive and collect! thanks anyway x
Don't you have postmen up there then??
