Right things I've checked. Split hoses, fuses. The switch is illuminating but the steering wheel controls don't do anything. I've tried connecting the Nanocom. It will talk to all systems on the car except yep you've guessed it the cruise control. All I get is a message saying failed to connect to controller. So where do I start? I'm not even even sure where the controller is.

IIRC the CC ECU is under the dash somewhere!!

There are two brake switches on the pedal one for lights one for CC....so check these

Also RAVE manuals has a Troubleshooting section for the CC so check that out too....

I followed the Rave troubleshooting steps for the cruise control and it was a waste of time really, it said the problem was the BECM so at that point I assumed it was just stupid and got a second hand ECU and inverter from eBay for about £15 and it worked fine ever since.

The cruise control ECU is on the right hand side of the dash, to get to it remove the panel under the steering wheel and you should see it.

my cruise control occaisionally refuses to work, but i accidently found that pressing the cruise control switch on the dash several times in succesion cures it for a couple of months. worth a try
