Well I was fed up of holding the pedal down all the time, after my last (RIP) car had cruise I realised I liked it more than I realised.

So a bit of research and found out it was easy it fit, so no brainer, I bought a conversion kit from the money I got for the coil packs and shocks from the wrecked car.

Anyway after a hiccup (trapped wire) I now have working cruise.

Why didn't they fit it as standard? Would be so sensible.

Got one fitted to my Disco 2 Landmark. Can't understand why it wasn't fitted as standard. Couldn't do without it now especially on motorway journeys to Scotland.

Mine has cruise but doesn't work, switch lights up when pressed but then nothing. Any ideas anyone?

You need to be doing over 25 for it to kick in. If you know anyone with a Nanocom Evo, you can read the status of the CC with that - at least, I know you can with the V8, but I'm not sure about the TD5.
