I already have a stack of crow decoys. When i used shoot them, i used to put egg shells and kitchen waste amongst them to lure them in. Always wanted to try mirrors but sadly that would be illegal.

The cardboard i had on rear window must have blew off in the wind last night as it was gone when i left to go to work at 3.00am and when i got home (you couldn't make this up) there was a huge crow sitting on rear wiper pecking at it. The front and rear nearside windows showed signs of crow attack.

Im really getting fed up now.
In all seriousness, I’ve found that eggs work well near to decoys too.

I've got a Primos crow caller which is 100% effective. I used to call crows in from a wood on a farm i used to shoot to get them in range. 34gms of no5 shot ended them.
But 36 gms of 4 shot ends them betterer 😁

My shooting mate bought a ‘crow caller’ at the shooting show this year. Sounds more like a bl00dy duck!

I remeber Mrs wanted a few shots of high driven clays, well I forgot the spare shells that day were 36grms 9’s (used as range finders)
She gave both barrels to the clays and me afterwards.
I chuckled and put some 24g 8 in for the next pair.

You need to practice. Don't blow it like your playing a trumpet. Almost growl into the caller. I've stood in my garden and called crows in.
I’ll tell him that.
At the moment, it’s mildly entertaining listening to him make a fool of himself in a hide 🤪

Have a trawl around local garage workshops asking for wipers they've replaced.

Then set up some sacrificial wiper blade 'artwork' to draw then away from your car.

Get a big tomcat?!

A follow up. Yesterday evening, i nipped outside to my van to get something and as i walked past my car, i noticed the cardboard was gone and the feathery marks on glass/pecking marks on rubber seals.

Running out of options, so i wrapped the wiper in a white plastic shopping bag and another sheet of cardboard.

Got home earlier and the cardboard shows signs of attack (bits of brown paper on floor) but rubber untouched.

Time to get creative with some chicken wire?
Thats similar to what a neighbour has done. He used plastic stuff which you'd usually use to prevent leaves getting in guttering and has them on his and wife's cars.

Another neighbour told me yesterday, crows are trying to remove the seals in his Velux window.

Crows, magpies, Jays, rooks etc are still on the general licence (which defra issue every year) so can be legally culled but only if dining on a field of cereal crop etc.

The plastic hawk idea wouldn't ever work. I've personally watched crows bully Buzzards which are 4x bigger than them. Crows simply, have no fear. The only thing they are fearful of is a human & gun. They might not know what a gun is but they know it means danger.

Technically, i could lawfully shoot them with a rifle (i have many different calibres) if one landed in my garden, because i have an open firearms licence. Provided, the projectile (bullet) does not leave my boundary i have committed no offence. But it would be madness to use a rifle in suburbia because of the risk of ricochets. A shotgun would safer but are incredibly noisy. Plod would be round here in minutes.

I literally have no idea how to stop this.
Gas powered air rifle. My niece's husband's one. Virtually silent in operation and plenty powerful enough to take out a crow. I've got a spring loaded one for rats but it makes a loud noise - enough to get the attention of neighbours.

One firearm i own (i own a lot) is a 22lr which has a sound moderator (silencer) and is deathly quiet when used with subsonic ammunition. A fart is louder. This is my go to rabbit rifle but i have used it on crows on farmland with plenty of space. Despite being a smallbore calibre you do still have to be very careful because it ricochet's terribly and the bullet can travel a considerable distance.

I think i've solved the problem anyway. I wrap a white plastic carrier bag around the rear wiper and they leave the car alone-for last week atleast. Only thing is, i have to remember to do it....and to remove it when i drive away.

Anyhow, i went to Billing 4x4 show last week for first time. Had a great time watching people getting stuck in the boggy bit.
