can anyone recommend someone to weld on a new crossmember, two rear and one front outrigger.

I am based in Wantage OX12

MID Engineering are just down the road from you.

Welcome to MiD Engineering

They are on Manor Road, 5 mins drive past the primary school.

They do have a bit of a waiting list, though. It's usually a couple of weeks before they can take on new work. Well worth the wait, but an alternative would be Frogs Island on Milton Park:, if you're in a hurry:

Cheers, I will give Mark at Mid a call as he found the defender for me but wasnt aware they would do the welding.

Making progress as I have just removed what was left of the cross member.

Easy job but a 9" grinder was certainly worth its money!
