been for my first motorway drive in my turbo diesel freelander[not td4]:doh:and it really struggled to do more than 75mph [i no its 70 on m/ways]got back home and its got a turbo whistleso what speed should they do or is that itno smoke from engine so what do you think the problem is[have a go i can take it]:behindsofa::violin:

suprised no-one has told you to burn it yet... anyhoo, blocked air filter/fuel filter, leaking inlet hoses, old age...

but mine does a ton no problems - with a synergy 2 fitted mind you.

SORTED the guy i brought it of had done something to the turbo gate so the turbo didnt whistle [so my son in law who knows diesels told me]so he adjusted it and now the turbo whistles like a duddlebug but pulls like a trainso new turbo next,,:welcome2:

Dont listen to the Disco guys, they get it easy they dont even have to burn theirs when they have a problem, all they have to do is leave it out in the rain and watch it disintegrate!
