Hi chaps
Decided to replace my wheel arch mouldings today in preperation for my new terrafirma replacements.
On closer inspection I noticed some corrosion at the bottom of the wheel arch.
Would it be advisable to cut this out and treat it as the new mouldings will hide it.
If so can anyone recommend a metal treatment to stop any further corrosion.

If it's the wing that's corroded, then it's aluminium. I would clean it up as well as possible, then cover in waxoil before fitting arches.

No probs...remember corrosion on ally is the same as rust on steel. once its started all you can do is slow down the process.
