Hi ppl

I need to replace a rotting core plug on the side of the engine but can't remember if you need to glue it in place

I did one a few years back on the front same time as I did the P gasket as it had rotted it out but can't remember if I used a glue or thread lock to secure it in place

Your thoughts please

Sort yourself out a socket and short extension that fits inside the plug, makes it easy to knock it in square.

It's the first plug from the front on the side of block
has anyone experience of doing this without having to remove the manifolds .. Looks doable

Everything is doable ... it's a degree of compliance thing ...
