Ahhh.. Acid rainI believe rainwater is just as good, collected in a plastic container of course
To be honest, I have always used tap water as a coolant dilutant and I live in an area that's has very poor water quality in terms of hardness.

Don't use neat coolant, stick with 50/50. On its own, it doesn't provide good antifreeze protection, nor good heat transferWhen I had my six series bmw. Bmw said use tap water. Absolutely no requirement for specific water. I think they stated certain dh hardness requirement only. They also said you can use neat coolant if you want.
You could use it for tea in a potBoiling won't do much unless you collect and cool the steam

Deionised water is more pure therefore is better then distilled.

Don't drink dionisedThought distilled deionised and rain water were all similar
What concentration? They do a ready mixed anti freeze here, just pour it straight in. Never had an issue with the stuff.
I don't know but is it available in the UK as well?
I'd have thought 50/50.The window cleaner sold me deionised water.

Used to buy it in Spain pre mixed, never worried about concentration it never got that cold, only put it in for corrosion resistance.I'd have thought 50/50.
The pink anti freeze is - 35°, the yellow anti freeze is - 27°.
