i have a 200tdi disco 3dr(1990) with good old windy windows,i went to see johnny my local disco breaker in bradfrod and i got a pair off doors from a l plate 94 5dr 200tdi,the connectors were all different but all the colours were the same it was just a case off joining them,with the door fitted i put the fuse in c3 i think and the relay goes in the drivers side footwell in the white block in the relay bank, put a set off switches in,hey presto,its just a case off swapping all the internals over i will update once its done,if anyone wants any pics let me know

In my opinion based on 25 years use, they are reliable I've never had a problem with them.

Just fitted doors with leccy windows to my 3dr 200 straight swap all the wirings there and ic u get the ctr console switch assembly all the wirings there aswell

In my opinion they're a common problem! Dodgy switches, dodgy solder on the ecu's and dodgy winder mechanisms. I may not have 25 years but i've got a 3 door where they don't work at all and my 300tdi auto where the winder mechanism sounds like a machine gun when it gets to the top and doesn't go all the way down and also another window that doesn't work at all. You might have been lucky, but they are a common problem point. Just like the other bits that were made for lesser vehicles originally like the locks!

iv got some doors from a 200 to fit to my 300 and connectors are doff.
