Does anyone have a problem with their trip computer giving faulse readings?

Mine reads and always has 16mph avg speed and never changes mpg @21.4 whether on a run or in town.

Changed once as I recall when the reading for mpg was going up & down as it should but only for a day.

same problem only different figures 14 mph and 18 mpg !!! must be a range rover thing

The readings you refer to are average readings, recorded over the length of the TRIP 2 mileage.

The reason they change for the day or two, is the average is settling down. As the miles pile on, it takes more driving in a non normal situation to affect the reading eg, drive to Scotland and back.

If you want to know what its like round town compared to on a run, you need to reset the trip and it will start recalculating.

just for info, over the 5000+ miles on TRIP 2, mine averaged 15 mpg and about 24 mph.

just hold the button down on the stalk when you are in the average mph section and it will start to recalculate
