Right then ive decided to break my defender as its worth way more in parts then id ever get for it.

For sale is everything you need for a 200tdi conversion. I will include both gearbox and transfer box and anything else you want within the engine bay (wiring, rads, intercooler etc).

Its covered 142000 miles and is a perfect runner. Ive owned it for a few years and has been regualy serviced and has never missed a beat. All numbers are where they should be.

Its still fitted and starts and runs like it should. I will leave it in place so any potential buyer can come and see it start and even take it for drive. Nothing will be removed untill a small deposit is left.

Price is £800 no offers. Pretyy fair as bare untested engines are fetching £795 on ebay! Will need to be collected from birmingham.

I also have invoices for cam belt, water pump and a complete head rebuild including new injectors etc. The fuel pump has not been messed with and only ever ran standard pressure.
 
On a separate thread I have on hear I was told by a senior member engines usually fetch in the region of £900. After a bit of research all the engines i can find advertised are around £800 and thats without all the extras and of course, untested.

You make it sound like you're selling a disco engine everything you need

When what you have for sale is.....
A genuine 200tdi defender engine with the turbo mounted on top side of the engine, you will receive the engine,gearbox complete with trasnsfer box and anything else you want within the engine bay (wiring, rads, intercooler etc).

How is asking questions about what the compression is on all 4 cylinders, and shape of clutch and fly wheel, and main bearing seal leaking being cocky

Nothing to do with the number of posts....more to do with most senior members have cottoned on to the fact that we don't try and screw the maximum amount out of each other but rather try and help each other out.

Nobody expects you to give it away but if you're wanting that sort of money you're probably better selling elsewhere
 
Much cheaper to fit a discovery 300Tdi engine same engine as a defender so no hassle swap flywheel housing off old N/A or TD engine and fit new front engine mount. Piece of **** about £250/£300 for the engine £20 for a mount.

On another Note I recently bought a Defender LT77 box and Tbox off a member on here for £50.

Sorry that was not aimed at you. After research my price seemed reasonable. The only other DEFENDER conversion I can find is £1800
