Given I think the DSP amp in my 2002 P38 has given up the ghost, I was wondering of the comparability of other Harmon Kardon amps fitted to other models.

At the minute I have XQK000110 fitted as I have the system with the extra rear tweeters and centre dash speaker.

I know the standard DSP amp at the time was XQK100340 as that's what my last P38 had, however I have seen people on eBay claiming XQK100210 will work if the sat nav is not there.

But has anyone tried XQK100210 in a P38 and what was the outcome ?

I know this is an older post, but I have the XQK100210 in my P38 currently, it operates the Sub and my Front speakers only, it also maintains steering wheel controls but no Sat/Nav. I had the XQK100340 before it died on me. I bought the 210 on ebay for around $50, so it was worth it for me. Does the XQK100110 operate your Nav and all the speakers?

I should have got round to updating this post, I went for 210 amp in the end for 50 quid. My Sat Nav doesn't work due to the computer in the boot being toast.

In terms of the amp I get the front speaker sound which is ok but I do miss the rear speakers, given I am about to star a new job which will involve more driving I am starting to hunt down a pukka amp.

Should have also said the 110 is for the cars with the tweeters in the rear door and parcel shelf as well as the front centre speaker

XQK100340 is the one you want, the others are a wast of time and money. Get a XQK100340 and sort your sat/nav and enjoy everything inc the subwoofer.

Hold on there fella. My 340 blew up and I replaced it with a ---- damn, can't remember. I will have to check through my older posts. Stand by.....

I would agree but the 340 doesn't come up for sale very often, on my last p38 took me about 3 months to track one down

ok,update . I replaced my XQK000340 with a XQK000110 both identical. probably no help though .
I got mine from eBay us $50 brand new, couldn't believe no one else bid on it .
