after removing a stuck tappet on my 3.9 disco, replaced valley gasket etc , all ok new set of leads as others were caput, now getting rough idle and lumpy aceleration and a spark /tapping from the coil to dizzy lead !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
any ideas please.

One or two leads in the wrong position and did you replace the king lead as no leads should spark.

Thanks for the reply, rechecked all lead posistions and all 9 are brand spanking, so im at bit of a loss now................

Also idles ok ish but runs like a sack o ****e when pushing it a bit in 2/3rd its dark outside now so dark , just fired her up again and sparking on lead from coil to dizzy cap, is it just a ****e lead ?

Sparking more so around coil end

Stick the old lead back in, thats if you haven't bined it The cap isn't broken/chipped is it.
