hi ive recently bought a freelander 1.8 xei it developed a clunking noise and shudder passenger front brake area can anyone give me some advice this problem recently changed the caliper as when bought the caliper was seized on

WELCOME! I believe you may have a rogue set of hair straighteners in the wheelarch; the clunking is when they bounce off the wheel and the shudder is the power cord being wrapped around the disc...

AHEM! Seriously - you've changed the caliper and I presume all is well with new brake pads? Did you buy a new brake disc as well?
The caliper was seized on you say. That could mean at some time the brake disc might have got rather too hot and might be warped.. that may explain a shudder when you apply the brakes. Or is the shudder there at any other times?

Diff.

the clunk and shudder is there constant seems like every revelution of the wheel you get the clunk and shudder which increases with speed

I would hazard a guess at maybe a warped disk? Try jacking wheel up and turn by hand to see if you can feel rubbing.

ok tried turning wheel by hand gets about half turn then goes stiff is this normal should the wheel revolve more
