Task for this weekend is to clean the MAP sensor, manifold was de-clogged last year and a EGR bypass fitted.

Any advice on cleaning the MAP?

TBH I think it would be better to replace it if you believe it to be faulty. They're a bit too delicate to be poking anything into it to clean. You could try spraying with brake cleaner perhaps.....

I'd use contact cleaner on it. Did you clean it when you cleaned the inlet manifold? Orifice it fits in really gunks up.
I've got a spare used MAP sensor if anyone is after one. Bought a new one last year when I suspected mine was faulty, turned out to be something else.
