10 spline
Thats what i thought. If i wanted to put in an arb diff locker would i be better of changing to 24 spline? I presume if i did id be better of changing the whole rear axle. If i did that what would be the easiest route to go. I also presume id want a diff the same ratio as the front, (woulg I?). OR are the 10 spline any good or would it just snap the shafts

i wouldnt say 10 or 24 spline are stronger than each other.ive broke 10 spline shafts and me mates broke 24 spline shafts..
if you go and spend £600+ on an arb diff i would want a half shaft to give up b4 the diff did..
me personally i would stay with 10 spline.
the only real benefit i can see with 24 spline is that they are becoming more readily available than 10 splines

i have broke 10 spline shafts and 24 spline shaft. if i was looking to upgrade the diff and put and arb looker in i would also spend and extra few ££££££ and buy some strengthend shafts aswell then u know u wont brake one

thats one thought but then the stress/breakage would transfer further down the drivetrain.
i know some trailing boys who purposely angle grind a thin line around the half shaft at the wheel hub end so that in the event of a breakage in competition the shaft is easier to remove..

yes u can get them the is usualy at least one company in the lro selling them, if u google it i am sure u will come across a few companies
